As he opened a plenary session, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy said that a draft law on national security “has just been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada” by the President.
“This draft law is surely a priority, and I am forwarding it to the subject committee for urgent consideration,” Parubiy said. “This law is all-important in the face of Russian aggression; it is essential for the security sector reform and is our crucial next step towards NATO.”
The Chairman of Parliament expressed his hope for a prompt consideration of the draft law by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
