"There are three main pillars of formation of the nation and personality: family, school and church," stated Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, delivering a speech at the theoretical and practical conference "Implementation of the State Policy related to the Development of Education in Ivano-Frankivsk Region", held on Tuesday in Ivano-Frankivsk.

"As one of these pillars, school is a foundation that forms State support of the nation", - he declared. "However, Ukrainian education lacks systematic reforms. There is no global vision of the future of Ukrainian education".

Addressing the educational workers of Ivano-Frankivsk region, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine called for substantial renewal of teaching personnel in Ukraine, and employment of younger specialists.

A.Yatseniuk also deems necessary to rationalize governmental order in the field of personnel provision of schools.

According to A.Yatseniuk, Ukraine is in need of statistics concerning number of graduates and those employed due to their speciality. "Billions are allocated for governmental order. However, we have a paradoxical system, when it seems impossible to employ a teacher of Ukrainian language in Crimea", - stated A.Yatseniuk.

He underscored: "At present, both resources, and the budget are available. It is necessary to secure due material and technical provision, so that State language and ideological policy could be implemented".

The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also criticized the quality of higher education in Ukraine. He stated that Ukrainian higher education establishments failed to be included into the relevant world top lists. "It is indicative of the quality of Ukrainian education", - stated A.Yatseniuk.
