The Committee on fighting Organized Crime and Corruption recommends that the Parliament adopts the Bill "On Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine" at the First Reading

Pursuant to the Bill, "the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine is a specially authorized central executive body in charge of corruption counteraction that secures organization and conduct of systemic counteraction to corruption in public authority and administration bodies, and corruption-related violations of high social danger; restoration of legitimate rights and interests of natural persons and legal entities; elimination of causes and effects of committal of corruption actions".   

Pursuant to the Bill (Reg. No.2222), the Anti-Corruption Bureau is established under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, is subordinate to the Cabinet of Ministers and under the control of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
