Any stand of Ukraine in the conflicts similar to the one in Georgia should be determined only by the issues of its national security, - stated Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, in his interview for the journalists after the opening of the exhibition "To Touch and See" in Simferopol.

"Any stand of Ukraine in such conflicts should be determined only by the issues of its national security", - underscored A.Yatseniuk.

He believes that the said conflict can no longer be regarded as a "frozen" one. "This is actually a military conflict, where the blood is shed," he stated.

However, A.Yatseniuk supposes that the said conflict is not bilateral. "The conflict is far beyond its scope. It is one more challenge for the global security that bears consequences for the members of the region".

The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is convinced that "Ukraine should draw clear-cut and resolute conclusions" due to the results of the conflict.

However, A.Yatseniuk stated that "war is not over", though military operations at the territory of Georgia had been suspended.
