The Bill (Reg. No.2470) envisages reforming of the domestic forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and their conversion into the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
People´s Deputy of Ukraine H.Moskal, author of the Bill, calls for "legislative definition of the status of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine as a system of units and military formations in charge of protection and defence of important objects, participation in the protection of public order, and fulfilment of other tasks that require permanent operational availability and high mobility".
