Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, is convinced that amendments to the Law of Ukraine on the State Budget-2008 will not be adopted before autumn.

On Saturday, A.Yatseniuk attended a press conference held within the scope of the forum "European Strategy of Yalta. 5th Yalta Annual Meeting". Inter alia, he stated:" In case the People´s Deputies were willing to convene an extraordinary session, I would readily convene the meeting, and hold it provided 226 votes are available. However, the history of the Parliament includes only one such incident. Therefore, I believe it will not occur in the current political season".

The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine commented on the budgetary process, and stated that certain regulations of the Law on State Budget should comply both with demands of the parliamentary Factions, and standards of macroeconomic policy.

According to A.Yatseniuk, reduction of the deficit of the State Budget is the only way to hold the inflation rates.

On Sunday, 13 July, A.Yatseniuk will visit Yevpatoria to attend the ceremony of presenting a bus "Bohdan", granted by the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Petro Poroshenko, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the National Bank of Ukraine, to the Ukrainian Association of the Blind.
