The Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy recommends that the Parliament adopts as a Basis the Bill on Amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine (re Use of Information granted to the Customs Bodies)

The Bill (Reg. No.2063) expands the sphere where customs statistics can be used in order to protect the rights of domestic producers by holding of anti-dumping inquiries.  

 

Thus, pursuant to the Bill, information concerning volume of export and import of specific goods, and customs statistics can be granted to the legislative body and central executive bodies so that they could realize their legislatively established authority. Information concerning export and import operations of specific subjects of foreign economic activity can be granted not only to the subjects determined by the Customs Code, but also to the central executive body in charge of holding anti-dumping inquiry in Ukraine.
