The People's Deputies call for regulating the Wearing of Uniform

The Committee on National Security and Defence scrutinized the Bill on demilitarization and regulation of the wearing of uniform.

 

Hennadiy Moskal, People´s Deputy of Ukraine, presented the Bill (Reg. No.2328). He deems necessary to adopt the Bill in order to arrange and develop unified methods of legislative regulation of the wearing of uniform.

 

The legal regime of wearing of uniform by the military servants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Security Service of Ukraine and other military units, personnel of the bodies in charge of internal affairs, the State Border Service fails to be regulated, and is defined by different legal acts.

 

The Committee members upheld the legislative initiative. They agreed with the author that representatives of different authorities and public organizations wear uniform, which is not reasonable.

 

The Committee resolved to forward the Bill for further elaboration, and set up a working group to study the said issue.
