On 11 June, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine awarded winners of the First Annual Prize for the Pedagogical Workers of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Delivering his speech, Arseniy Yatseniuk underscored importance of basic education.

 

Arseniy Yatseniuk regards pecuniary aid granted to educational workers as an important step forward. The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dwelled upon vocational technical education. He believes that "at present, Ukraine is in need of powerful vocational technical education that should meet current challenges and needs of economic activity".
