The hearings were attended by the People´s Deputies of Ukraine, representatives of executive and local authorities, international organizations, national and regional public associations of the disabled.
The attendants of the hearings discussed observance of rights of the disabled in Ukraine, securing their full-fledged participation in the social life, and inclusion of the issues concerning disability into all trends of State policy. The participants of the hearings deem necessary to elaborate guidelines concerning development of the National Strategy (Action Plan) on observance of rights and full-fledged participation of the disabled in the social life, and improvement of their standard of living.
The Committee plans to elaborate guidelines on development of the National Strategy (Action Plan) on observance of rights of the disabled in the social life.
