Arseniy Yatseniuk, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, will make a working visit to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on 29-30 January 2008.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will hold meetings with the representatives of village and settlement councils, residents of Simferopol district of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on the issues concerning unauthorized acquisition of land plots. On the same day A.Yatseniuk will appear in the live broadcast of the State Television and Radio Enterprise "Krym" and the Black Sea Television and Radio Enterprise.
According to the schedule, on Wednesday the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will see round a self-elevating offshore drilling rig "Tavryda" that is conducting a test of a drilled well at Odessa gas deposit in North-West part of the Black Sea at the distance of 100 km from the coast line. The Chairman will also observe activity of Glibivsky underground depository of gas; meet the leaders and employees of the Underground Gas Storage Department of the NJSC "Chornomornaftogas" and hold a working meeting with the leaders of the NJSC "Chornomornaftogas" concerning stimulation of hydrocarbonic resources development in the Ukrainian sector of the Black and Azov Seas.
A.Yatseniuk will also hold meetings with the members of the Presidium of The Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, chairmen of village, settlement, district and city councils, rectors of Crimean higher educational establishments and representatives of student self-government.
