PLENARY MEETING OF THE SECOND SESSION OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE OF THE SIXTH CONVOCATION WAS HELD ON THURSDAY, 6 MARCH.
The plenary meeting started at 2:17 p.m.
446 People´s Deputies registered to attend it.
Arseniy Yatseniuk, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, reported on the Protocol of Understanding, signed at the sitting of the leaders of Deputy Factions, which will become effective after the Resolution concerning Ukraine´s accession to the NATO is signed.
The Draft Resolution on Ukraine´s accession to the NATO (Reg. No. 1402-1) was included into the agenda.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine put the Draft Resolution to the vote without prior discussion.
The Verkhovna Rada passed the Resolution at the First Reading and in its entirety by 248 votes.
On voting the representatives of the Factions expressed their opinions concerning adopted resolution.
The morning plenary meeting was then closed.
