The Bill (Reg. No. 2093) limits the period of a People´s Deputy´s stay in the personnel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Pursuant to the Bill, "one and the same person can not be a deputy for a period of more than two convocations of The Verkhovna Rada in succession".
The People´s Deputy, M.Tomenko, the author of the Bill, recommends that "not less than a half of candidates for the deputies included in the common electoral list of a party (bloc) are to be nominated by the regional centres of a party (parties in the bloc)".
The said motion will facilitate professional renewal of the personnel of the legislative body during the holding of next parliamentary election. It will also enhance and democratize the conclusion of electoral lists by the parties (blocs).
