‘We have restored our position this week and clearly enshrined in the law that Ukraine set forth its aim at NATO membership’. A. Parubii, the Chairperson.

The adoption of the law by the Parliament, which legally recognized the priority of Ukraine's accession to NATO, is of great practical and symbolic significance. It was stressed by Andrii Parubii on Friday in his interview to Rada TV channel. He then added that ‘it has been a long story initiative as dating back to Yanukovych’s presidency Ukraine’s NATO political priority was legally abated’.
‘We have restored our position this week and clearly enshrined in the law that Ukraine set forth its aim at NATO membership’, said Andrii Parubii, the Parliament’s Chairperson having underscored that the western partners had put a keen accent upon importance of legal anchoring of the aim ‘to facilitate the work in that regard’.
