The Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy recommends that the Parliament adopts as a Basis the Bill "On Amendments to several Legislative Acts of Ukraine in view of Ukraine's joining the Convention on Temporary Import"

The Bill (Reg. No. 2142) was elaborated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in order to coordinate the Customs Code of Ukraine and the Law "On Freight Transit" with the Law "On Ukraine´s joining the Convention on Temporary Import".  

 

Adoption of the Bill will create favourable conditions for temporary duty-free import of commodities, as it will eliminate hampers that emerge in the process of customs clearance, payment of customs taxes and duties, which will also promote international trade.
