At their Meeting, Committee Members listened to information presented by the Task Force, and upheld its proposals concerning optimisation in the allocation of budgetary appropriations within the budget sum allocated to The Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Ukraine's State Budget 2008.
The Task Force suggested that the Budget appropriations to the amount of 25.5 million Hryvnias are redistributed within the fixed sum allocated.
In the outcome of discussions, the Committee resolved that the additionally required funds in the area of Culture and Arts shall be fully taken into account when making amendments to The State Budget 2008. The People's Deputies insist that the additional requirements stem from several provisions of the Governmental Programme 'Ukrainian Breakthrough: For the Benefit of the People, not the Politicians'.
