The actions of Yuriy Lutsenko, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, in the incident with Leonid Chernovetsky, Kyiv mayor, will be considered at The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on 6 or 7 February.
At the press conference, held on Friday, 25 January, Arseniy Yatseniuk, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, informed that the said resolution was adopted at the Conciliative Council on Thursday and was approved by its members on Friday.
A.Yatseniuk stated that at present "there is no basis for passing a resolution" on the said issue at The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, since the Resolution on Liability of "either the Minister of Internal Affairs, or Kyiv mayor" has not yet been registered. He also stated that it has been not yet decided whether it will be hearing of information of the General Prosecutor´s of Ukraine, or the resolution on creation of a Temporary Inquiry Panel will be passed.
