Valeriy Konovaliuk, the Co-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Deputy Group on Inter-Parliamentary Liaison with the Federal Republic of Germany, and Ivan Hnatyshyn, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Relations of Ukraine, attended the meeting.
The Parties exchanged their opinions concerning bilateral Ukrainian-German relations in the field of politics, economy, investments, culture and inter-parliamentary liaison.
Special attention was devoted to the holding of Ukraine´s Day in German Bundestag, scheduled for 16 June 2008.
Oleh Bilorus, the Committee Chairman, informed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany of creation of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Deputy Group on Inter-Parliamentary Liaison with the Federal Republic of Germany that includes 147 People´s Deputies.
