The chairperson underlined
that a European Ukraine seemed to be unthinkable without a parliament of equally
high quality. ‘The Verkhovna Rada has always been a sturdy platform used to
deliver key state-level decisions,’ said A. Parubii. The chairperson also
expressed his gratitude for those social organizations which
had been promoting the parliament’s openness and performance. He wished well to
the 9th ‘Information Fair’ participants, with looking forward to
the beneficial cooperation in the future.
Marie Yovanovitch, the United States Ambassador
to Ukraine, took also part in the opening ceremony.
The exhibition
will be held on May 16 and 17, 2017, having comprised this year more than 50 organizations.
The fair aims at
delivering a wider access of the parliamentarians to working e-tools of the
local non-governmental bodies and international organizations in order to
foster a higher-level performance.
