The Bill (Reg. No. 1144) expands the system of the State decorations of Ukraine by introducing amendments to the said Law.
The Committee members upheld an amendment to Article 7 of the said Law, pursuant to which "The Order of Liberty is founded to honour outstanding and special services of citizens in consolidation of sovereignty and independence of Ukraine and Ukrainian society; development of democracy, social and economic, and political reforms; protection of human and citizens´ constitutional rights and liberties".
Pursuant to the Bill, a medal "For Rescued Life" is founded to honour the citizens for life-saving, active charitable, humanistic and other activity regarding protection of citizens´ health, prevention of accidents with people".
