Amongst others, the Committee discussed the Bill on Legal Enactments remitted by the People´s Deputy, R. M. Zvarych (Reg. No. 1343) and the Bill on Legal Enactments remitted by the People´s Deputy, O. V. Lavrynovych (Reg. No. 1343-1). The Committee feels that the Bill (Reg. No. 1343) requires considerable clarification and engrossment, whereas the Bill, Reg.No.1343-1, can be recommended for adoption by The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, as a basis for further deliberations. The Committee resolved to forward its conclusion on the said Bills to the Legal Policy Committee, which is a Lead Committee responsible for preparation of and elaboration on this Bill.
The People´s Deputies also resolved, pursuant to the Part 2, Clause 89 of the Standing Orders of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, to address the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with a proposal to return to the Legislative Initiator, without consideration at a Plenary Meeting, the following Bills: on Amendments to the Law ‘On Status of the People´s Deputy of Ukraine´ (appertaining to limiting the People´s Deputy´s benefits) (Reg. No.1356), on Amendments to the Law ‘On Status of the People´s Deputy of Ukraine´ (appertaining to revoking several benefits granted to People´s Deputies) (Reg. No.1356-1), on Amendments to the Law ‘On Status of the People´s Deputy of Ukraine´ and several other Laws of Ukraine (Reg. No.1408), Draft Resolutions ‘On Holding a Parliamentary Hearing in The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the Legislative Framework behind the Launch of an Agricultural Land Market in Ukraine´ (Reg. No.1474) and ‘On Holding a Parliamentary Hearing ‘Ukraine/NATO Co-operation: The Pros and Cons´ (Reg. No. 1394-1).
