A.Yatseniuk, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, states that Ukraine has Constitutional Regulations which define a 30-day Term of the Parliament's Inactivity, and "the said Fact can influence the President's Decision to dissolve the Parliament"

Arseniy Yatseniuk, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, states that Ukraine has constitutional regulations which define a 30-day term of the Parliament´s inactivity, and "the said fact can influence the President´s decision to dissolve the Parliament".

 

Arseniy Yatseniuk stated the aforesaid after the meeting with Hans-Gert Pöttering, the President of the European Parliament. He commented the situation in the Ukrainian Parliament.

 

However, the Chairman stated that "it bears no relation to the current political situation". "We should think about Ukraine, not about separate politicians," emphasized the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

 

A.Yatseniuk also expressed his hope that "Ukraine will not need extraordinary election".

 

In his turn, Hans-Gert Pöttering expressed his conviction that one should be guided by the State interests.

 

Hans-Gert Pöttering expressed also his hope that "Ukraine is on the right way to development of democracy", and he stated that "the political parties make up the basis of democracy".
