The attendants of the hearings discussed current state and prospects of reforming the principles of State regulation of organization and conduct of gambling games; creation of a single system of State regulation, organization and conduct of gambling games; experience of different countries in the field of organization of State control over conduct of gambling games.
The Committee members stated that Ukraine lacks a due system of State regulation of gambling business conduct. However, the principles of public policy in the said sector have not been legislatively defined yet.
The attendants of the hearings deem necessary to elaborate a profile law to regulate the relations between organizers of gambling games, gamblers and the State.
The Committee is also to initiate parliamentary hearings on the subject "Legislative Regulation of Organization and Conduct of Gambling Games in Ukraine".
