The Committee members discussed the necessity of establishing the said Board, principles of its activity and personnel.
S.Teriokhin, the Committee Chairman, stated that the Public Board is a consultative body of the Committee which was created "to carry out a tax and customs reform with coordinated efforts of public bodies and society". He emphasized that the Board does not have a status of legal entity and is not authorized to make statements on behalf of the Committee or its structural subdivisions. Moreover, the Board members participate in its activity for free.
