At the meeting Giorgi Baramidze stated that he visited Ukraine in order to attend the international forum "Europe-Ukraine" which envisages discussion of the issue concerning European integration of Ukraine.
The Parties discussed holding of early parliamentary election in Georgia in May 2008. They also dwelled on the reforming of public television in Georgia, and formation of new personnel of the Election Commission.
The Committee Chairman informed Giorgi Baramidze of participation of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine delegation in the work of the Eighth Winter Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and of his meeting with the Chairman of Georgian Parliament. Oleh Bilorus also commented on political situation in Ukraine, and allocation of forces between democratic coalition and opposition.
The Parties also discussed the issues concerning economic development of the two countries.
