The Bill (Reg. No.1318) introduces several amendments to the Law "On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine", appertaining to the procedure of appointment of the judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine by the President of Ukraine (new version Part 1, Article 6); accession to office of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine (new version Article 17); termination of authorities of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine (amendments to Article 23).
Pursuant to the Bill, resolution on appointment of a person to the position of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine can be abolished by the authorized body in case of the refusal to administer the oath, etc.
In the result of the discussion the Committee passed a resolution to recommend that the Parliament forwards the Bill for further elaboration to the subject of legislative initiative.
