Taking into account the fact that sea commercial port "Yuzhny" is the most deep-water and one of the three leading ports of Ukraine (Illichivsk, Odesa, Yuzhnyi), numerous raider capture attempts in order to establish management independent from the state have been made for the last four years. In this case it should be taken into account that mentioned enterprise is of strategic weight for the state and, particularly, works with dangerous cargo.
«With a purpose of application of conformable measures concerning the protection of national interests and state ownership, I ask You to execute conformable action concerning examination and investigation of the facts on raider capture attempts of the sea commercial port "Yuzhny" and in case of violations to call guilty persons to account according to Ukrainian law. Please, personally inform me about the results of considerations of my letter.» - is stated in the appeal of the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine and the Minister of Internal Affairs.
