The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Elimination of Consequences of Chornobyl Disaster upholds the Bill "On Preservation of Cultural and Natural Heritage Objects included and offered for Inclusion into the UNESCO World Heritage List"

The Bill (Reg. No.1459) regulates the issue concerning preservation of cultural and natural heritage objects included and offered for inclusion into the UNESCO World Heritage List. Inter alia, the Bill improves organizational, scientific and procedural principles of activity concerning "detection, examination, State registration, restoration, use and maintenance of Ukraine´s cultural heritage objects". The said document also regulates formation and introduction of regulation and procedural base; control over architectural activity and urban construction in historic areas of settlements; prevention of scientifically ungrounded change of cultural heritage objects and traditional environmental characteristics.
