The Bill (Reg. No.2176) amends the effective Law. Thus, it specifies the procedure of holding advisory opinion poll (consultative referendum), adopting a resolution concerning extension of exploitation period of operating nuclear facilities and units intended for treatment of nuclear waste of national importance.
Adoption of the Bill will enhance the procedure of adopting resolutions concerning placement, design and construction of nuclear units; extension of exploitation period of operating nuclear facilities and units intended for treatment of nuclear waste of national importance. Moreover, it will secure participation of the public in the process of adopting such resolutions.
