On Wednesday, 2 April, Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, met Sergey Mironov, Chairman of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
At the meeting the Parties discussed bilateral Ukrainian-Russian relations, especially at the inter-parliamentary level.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is also to meet Boris Gryzlov, Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
A.Yatseniuk will also attend the 30th plenary meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will also meet Vadim Popov, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus; Marian Lupu, Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova; Ogtay Asadov, Chairman of the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic; Lluis Maria de Puig, Chairman of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly, and Goran Lennmarker, the OSCE PA President.
