The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to several Laws of Ukraine regarding Intellectual Property ( re Compliance with the Requirements set for Ukraine's Accession to the WTO)"

The Law amends the Laws "On the Protection of Rights to Indication of Origin of Goods" and "On Protection of the Rights to Signs for the Goods and Services".

 

The Bill regulates use of a sign in domain names and declaring it as currently in use.

 

A relevant Bill (Reg. No.2022) was registered in The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on 07.02.2008.
