The Bill (Reg. No.2302) extends the force of Paragraph 11.37 of Article 11 of the Law "On Value Added Tax" till 1 January 2014. Pursuant to the said Paragraph, "operations on import of goods defined by Clause "o" of Article 19 of the Law "On the Single Customs Tariff" are exempt from tax". Operations on delivery of the said goods to the publishing houses and printing enterprises in Ukraine are also exempt from tax (effective regulation grants such benefits till 1 January 2009). The said goods include commodities of foreign production that are imported in Ukraine for further use in publishing and printing industry.
The Committee resolved to uphold the Bill at the First Reading, taking into consideration the introduced motions and remarks.
