Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, called on the People´s Deputies for elaborating the Target Action Plan for Year 2008. The Chairman of Ukrainian Parliament introduced the said motion at the Conciliative Council on Monday.
Arseniy Yatseniuk analyzed the activity of all branches of power in Ukraine. Thus, he deems necessary to deviate from the current political situation and choose pragmatic orientation. Therefore, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine recommends that the Target Action Plan should be elaborated till the end of 2008.
"The Verkhovna Rada as a sole legislative body can assume such responsibility. In cooperation with the President, the Cabinet of Ministers and The Verkhovna Rada Factions, we can scrutinize and adopt the said Bill. It should be a legally binding document that envisages a plan of State development for Year 2008," stated Arseniy Yatseniuk.
