The Committee on the Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and the Disabled recommends that the Parliament rejects the Bill on Amendments to Article 13 of the Law "On Pension Provision" (re Preferential Terms of granting Retirement Pension for Particular Groups of Agricultural Workers)

At the meeting it was stated that the Bill (Reg. No. 2414) proposes to extend the right for granting retirement pension on preferential terms on men employed as milkers (machine milking operators), pig-tenders in collective farms or other agricultural enterprises after they reach 55 years and with seniority of at least 20 years on the assumption of meeting statutary regulations of service.

 

Committee members have stressed that introduction of new preferential terms of granting retirement pensions does not meet general principles of retirement insurance realization and will lead to unequal terms concerning receiving of pensionary payments by insured persons.
