The Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations recommends that the Parliament adopts the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Veterinary Medicine" as a Basis

21 April 2008, 10:35

The Bill (Reg. No.2298) coordinates national legislation in the sanitary, veterinary and phytosanitary sectors with the regulations of the WTO agreement on conduct of sanitary and phytosanitary actions. Inter alia, the Bill supplements the effective Law with a new term "acceptable identification", and specifies the terms "a contaminant", "top level of leftovers" (highest possible level of leftovers) and several other terms.

Therefore, the Committee recommends that the Parliament adopts the Bill, taking into consideration the introduced motions.
