In his interview for the Rada TV channel, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Andriy Parubiy, noted that in a year, the Ukrainian Parliament will have to be prepared and have all required legislative acts to once again consider the issue of termination of the moratorium on sale of farmlands.

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said that the major precondition for the decision of the Ukrainian legislature to prolong the moratorium on sale of farmlands for another year was absence of laws that envision formation and circulation of farmlands.

At the same time, Andriy Parubiy stressed that relevant ministry and parliamentary committees have half a year to elaborate bills required to terminate the moratorium.
