The Committee on Foreign Affairs recommends that the Parliament ratifies the Agreement between Ukrainian Government and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development regarding Cooperation and Activity of the Standing Representation of the EBRD in Ukraine

The Bill (реєстр.№0036) envisages ratification of the Agreement that grants privileges for the  European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, its managers and personnel; inviolability of bank premises, and protection of the Standing representation of the EBRD at the level of any diplomatic mission.  

 

Pursuant to the Agreement, the bank, its assets, property, income, activity and treaties are exempt from direct taxes, which complies with Article 53 of the Agreement Establishing the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development that was signed by Ukraine on 14.07.1992. The Agreement defines cases when bank can be exempt from the value added tax.
