The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada noted that he did his best to guarantee effective vote to deprive all the oath-breaking judges of their authorities. Andriy Parubiy noted that if the voting for the issue had finally failed, he would have had to publish the names of the parliamentarians, who were absent during the vote.
Andriy Parubiy highly appreciated the fact that members of the Ukrainian Parliament managed to gather to take part in the extraordinary plenary meeting.
He noted that a total of 33 resolutions on the said judges were tabled in the Verkhovna Rada and as a result 29 of them were dismissed.
Andriy Parubiy noted that the Parliament proved to be fighting against corruption.
