Andriy Parubiy states that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine immediately ratifies agreement on the free trade zone with Canada

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Parubiy A. during the meeting of the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau thanked his country for assisting Ukraine in the current difficult time. "For me it is very important that the support you provide is a common understanding of the events that were in Ukraine, and it is not only Putin’s aggression against Ukraine, this aggression of Putin is against the entire free world, against all countries which guaranteed security, which guaranteed the world without deaths, this is a challenge to the whole system of security, which held the post-war Europe and the whole world "- said Parubiy A.
Parubiy expressed gratitude for the financial, political and humanitarian assistance provided to Ukraine and expressed contentment with the signing of a free trade zone between Ukraine and Canada. "I am very happy that these days the Agreement on free trade was signed and I want to promise you that the Ukrainian Parliament will ratify it as soon as possible, it will be for us a very significant and important holiday," - mentioned Parubiy.
During the conversation parties touched upon the possible liberalization of the visa regime between the two countries.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada assured the honourable guest that Ukraine is a reliable, promising and attractive ally for Canada, "I believe that Ukraine and Canada have much in common in the current history, and in the future."

He praised the study of Canadian and Ukrainian militaries who held joint
drills on Yavoriv landfill and thanked for their assistance and expressed confidence that "they acquire the necessary knowledge and Ukrainian army receives large financial support."
The Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in turn that it is important for Canada to build relationships with Ukraine in various
directions and fields. He drew attention to the need to strengthen the economic partnership. He wished the Ukrainian Parliament to be "committed to getting the best results in the course of reforms." Justin Trudeau said that Canada will consistently support Ukraine in the preservation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity.
