The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy while opening the morning session on Tuesday, reminded that today we mark the anniversary of the liberation of Sloviansk from Moscow invaders.
"Today is the anniversary of when the soldiers of the Battalion of the National Guard named after Kulchytskyi entered Sloviansk and raised the yellow-blue flag there" - he said.
Members of the parliament greeted with applause Ukrainian soldiers-liberators of the battalion named after Kulchytskyi who were present in the session hall.
"It was a great victory of Ukrainian spirit and Ukrainian weapons", - emphasized the Head of the Parliament.
