On Tuesday, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andrii Parubii congratulated the participants in the scientific achievements exhibition of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and national field-specific academies of sciences organized on the sidelines of the Ukrainian Parliament.

Andrii Parubii noted that the Verkhovna Rada takes care of the development of the domestic science. At present, the Ukrainian Parliament's agenda includes two important draft laws: amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On scientific, scientific and technological activities" and the draft amendments to the State Budget of Ukraine for 2016 as to intensification of state support to the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and national field-specific academies of sciences.
"This draft law is destined to raise expenditures of the state budget for science. It is being considered by the relevant Committee," the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada said.
Andrii Parubii wished scientists success and inspiration and promised that "the Parliament will do its best to support Ukrainian scientists and teaching staff."
