Verkhovna Rada Chairperson Parubii take part in state commemoration of soldiers killed in World War II

On May 9, 2016 — Victory Day over Nazism in World War II, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii laid flowers to the Monument to Unknown Soldier in the Glory Park in Kyiv.

In a remembrance march, President Petro Poroshenko, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii, and Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman passed the Alley of Perished Heroes, where 34 tombs of soldiers killed in the years of World War II are located.

Other participants in the event were WWII veterans, participants in the anti-terrorist operation in the east of Ukraine, members of the Ukrainian Government, people's deputies of Ukraine, leaders and representatives of all churches of Ukraine.

The participants in the ceremony laid flowers to the memorial.

At the end of the event, President Petro Poroshenko, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii and Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman talked to the people, who came there to commemorate the killed heroes.
