Verkhovna Rada Chairperson Volodymyr Groysman sends Laws on visa-free regime with EU for signature of President of Ukraine

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has signed the laws touching the implementation of the Visa Liberalisation Action Plan for Ukraine adopted by the Ukrainian Parliament last week and sent them for the signature of the President of Ukraine.

On February 18, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the draft law No. 4054 "On amendments to Penal and Criminal Procedure Codes of Ukraine" (as to implementation of recommendations envisioned by the VI Report of European Commission on state of implementation of Visa Liberalisation Action Plan for Ukraine touching improvement of the procedure of property arrest and special confiscation institution); No. 4055 "On amendments to Law of Ukraine "On prosecutor's office" (as to consolidation of transparency in organization of activity of Specialized Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office to fulfill International Monetary Fund's recommendations); and No. 4056 "On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine" (as to implementation of recommendations envisioned by the VI Report of the European Commission on state of implementation of Visa Liberalisation Action Plan for Ukraine touching improvement of principles of activity of the National Agency for Recovery of Proceeds of Corruption).
