Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine observes minute's silence in remembrance of people killed during Maidan events

On Thursday, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine observed minute's silence in remembrance of the people killed during the Maidan events — the Heavenly Hundred.

Opening the plenary meeting on Thursday, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman reminded that mass murdering of activists started two years ago.

"Any tragedies should always be remembered by all the alive to prevent them in the future. All those, who committed that crime have to be punished, and sentenced to the supreme measure of punishment," Groysman said.
