On Thursday, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider the draft laws aimed at implementation of the Visa Liberalisation Action Plan for Ukraine.

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this in his opening speech during the Thursday plenary meeting of the Ukrainian Parliament.

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada informed that the meeting of deputy factions and groups of the Verkhovna Rada that preceded the plenary meeting, had decided to consider these draft laws at 16:00.

The Chairperson of the Ukrainian Parliament expressed hope that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine would approve these draft laws today and called on people's deputies to work constructively and support these decisions. "The situation is not simple. In fact it is quite complicated. However, the Parliament should find strength to work effectively," Groysman noted.

"The introduction of the visa-free regime is the issue of freedom, the issue of real European integration," he said.
