According to proposals from Committee Members, the Meeting created six Sub-committees and elected their Chairmen;
Stepan Kurpil was elected Chairman of the Sub-committee dealing with matters of Political Dialogue, inter-personal contacts, Ukraine/EC Co-operation in Justice and Internal Affairs Areas, and Co-ordination of EC technical aid to The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Volodymyr Vecherko was elected Chairman of the Sub-committee dealing with the Ukraine/EC Economic and Sectoral Co-operation, and WTO.
Petro Hasiuk was elected Chairman of the Sub-committee dealing with Regional and Trans-border co-operation.
Olha Herasimiuk was elected Chairman of the Sub-committee dealing with co-operation with NATO and. WEU-A.
Iryna Herashchenko was elected Chairman of the Sub-committee dealing with Information Support and the Provision of Integration Processes.
Serhiy Shevchuk was elected Chairman of the Sub-committee dealing with Adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to that of the EC.
The Meeting also adopted proposals for a preliminary Plan for International Exchanges effected by The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
