At a briefing following the adoption of the Law of Ukraine "On State Budget of Ukraine for 2016" with 263 votes at the session hall of the Ukrainian Parliament on Friday, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman noted that "this bright day we disappointed all of those, who wanted to destabilize the situation in Ukraine."
Groysman thanked all his colleagues people's deputies of Ukraine for their serious work, for preparation of the decisions "that allowed preservation of the financial decentralization, and even consolidated it." In his words, the new budget "will decrease the pressure on the system of the remuneration of labor, de-shadow salaries, preserve small and mid-sized business, support agrarians and the Ukrainian rural areas."
The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada noted that the work would be continued.
Groysman also said that many deputies talked about the necessity for stimulation of domestic producers, domestic market, development of economy, etc. He noted the necessity for elaboration of a standalone action plan to be implemented in January-February 2016. He added that the action would require the establishment of a workgroup of economic experts. "This budget is only a start to a very serious work and establishment of new economic policy for 2016," he said.
