Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman calls on the people's deputies to remember about responsibility to the citizens.

At the Wednesday plenary meeting, Groysman excused for shameful incidents that took place within the walls of the Verkhovna Rada and called on the deputies to be tolerant and hold constructive dialogue.

"Every morning, I'd like us to remember, to acknowledge, who we are, and why we were elected to the Ukrainian Parliament," the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said.

He also noted that any physical violence or political pressure within the walls of the Ukrainian Parliament is unacceptable.

"The Parliament is not the place for threats and fights. I do not accept any pressure and believe it to be unacceptable," he said.

"I am confident we will find mutual understanding and will show high level of political culture the Ukrainian politicians are currently lacking," Groysman noted.
