From 17 -19 August, the First Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine A. Martyniuk made a Working Visit to the Chernivtsi Region

From 17 -19 August, the First Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Adam Martyniuk made a working visit to the Chernivtsi region.

A.Martyniuk visited Storozhynetsky, Hlybotsky, Sokyriansky, Khotynsky, Novoselytsky districts, Novodnistrovsk and Chernivtsi, where he had meetings with the community and leaders of local councils, appeared in the live broadcast on the regional radio and television.

Speaking with the citizens, A.Martyniuk dwelled on the issues regarding European orientation of Ukraine, its entry in EU, WTO and NATO, relations between Ukraine and Russia, labor emigration, creation of conditions necessary for development of National languages and cultures in Ukraine, preservation of unity and integrity of independent Ukrainian State.

A number of questions related to the matter of religious confrontation which prevails in several regions of Ukraine, especially in the west. Speaking with the audience, A.Martyniuk also answered numerous questions concerning current social and economical development of Ukraine and Chernivtsi region, further actions of the Government towards improvement of the public life.
