Opening the extraordinary plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Thursday, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman informed about the results of the meeting of the heads of parliamentary factions with the participation of Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk. The said meeting considered "further actions as to preparation and consideration of important decisions."
"Firstly, we agreed to hold the discussion of these decisions today. Secondly, we are eyeing an opportunity to amend the effective Tax Code to balance the budget for the next year," Groysman said.
He said that the work on the new Tax Code would also be continued next year. To do so a workgroup with the participation of Arseniy Yatsenyuk will be established.

A total of 350 people's deputies registered at the session hall. The start of the meeting dedicatedthe consideration of the budget and the tax reform was suspended by 30 minutes in view of consultations of the leaders of factions and deputy groups.
